History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Althaea hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her dancing career. She is a great chef.

History: Althaea lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Soapmaker but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
