History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nykkan was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nykkan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Sun was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She now mingles about in high society.

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Crown-heir.

He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Navigator; and revenge

History: He was raised in a island tribe. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
