History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Mord alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Mord was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: Born in the north to a Herbalist, Thoradin learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
