History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Varis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lerissa grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Through the years after Lerissa was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Lerissa's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
