History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Torbera was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Through the years after Torbera was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Torbera's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: She was raised in a plains tribe. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now mingles about in high society.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She now owns her own business.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
