History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He's also a talented Dilettante, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and doesn't want to be a slave trader and was forced into it by her family

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: Ugarth was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He struck the Sellsword job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and balancing his hectic life and new sellsword responsibilities is difficult

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and his religion dominates his actions
