Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Dain was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Description: A middle-aged man, he is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Sailor, and is pretty ugly. His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His ears are large.
Personality: Rûg hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his singing career. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Knight. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.
History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Knight.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: She dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a black coat with brown slacks, and she perpetually has her hand crossbow ready. She has moderate length white hair. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.
Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Therlin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Assassin. He has worked as a Assassin like his father before him.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He sports a flattop fur cut. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
