History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Miller. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Miller for the past few years.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. After coming to the age of reason, Raymond took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Cressel was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shifting grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shifting. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
