Personality: Dustin speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Carter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Dustin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has worked as a Dilettante like his mother before him.
