History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Donella was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Donella's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Her childhood dream was to be a Soapmaker, but she was a colossal failure. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She's also a talented Stylist, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Stylist again; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Decarabia was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Baker. She has worked as a Baker like her mother before her.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and to be a map maker again

He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Norman was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: Gilbert speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.
