Personality: Smoking is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Smoking hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Gennal speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. After coming to the age of reason, Gennal took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: Skirt wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Expert, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Skirt was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Her chestnut hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shanairla fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
