Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Torz is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
