History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She married young, but lost her spouse to drow. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it.

History: He got into the Courier business at a young age. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now owns his own business.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Theriatis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Iados fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.
