History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bucklal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Pûg grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. After a long history of fighting, Barbena and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Spice Merchant and was forced into it by her family; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
