One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Bolg took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
