History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She tends to her Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. The war was a terrible time for her, and Nogu does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Nogu was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Flask was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost.
