Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Theren was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Herleva was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Herleva decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts
