Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hupe embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Hupe was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hupe's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has never given up on his music dream.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized yellow coat. She has a very tight haircut. Her hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to prove her worth to the world

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Halfling, and stands approximately 2'9". Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Euphemia lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her childhood dream was to be a Courier, but she was a colossal failure. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

History: Lavinia hails from a village terrorized by giants. She married young, but lost her spouse to giants. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and a deep hatred of giants

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Erevan grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. After a long history of fighting, Callie and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and she's repulsed by the pc

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Zed will drive conversation. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Banker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and gnomish compassion
