When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. After a long history of fighting, Carrie and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Mella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing.
