Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Thiala grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food.
