History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Joan was taken on many hunting expeditions. Joan was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Joan decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: Rose was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Rose was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Rose's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Human culture. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends
History: She was born into a rich family. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born in the north to a Body Guard, Uraim learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He became a Body Guard soon after.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
