History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Some 3 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Faral never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.
