History: The child of a Engraver, who enjoyed hunting, Sumnes was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Zook never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Odo lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Crown-heir, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. She became a Shoemaker soon after.
