History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She struck the Marshal job and began her own company from there.

History: Dean was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ranala does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She tends to her Navigator job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
