Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. The war was a terrible time for her, and Salanop does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She now mingles about in high society.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a Servant, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
