This search led him directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Thomas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He became a Navigator soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Navigator responsibilities is difficult; and obtaining odd cultural tiefling artifacts is his passion
