Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears tattered old clothes. She has done her best to style her chestnut hair to look like a famous performer. Her fierce red eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Shax is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: She was raised in a desert tribe. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Junk Dealer. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She has dyed her greying cinnamon fur a little too much giving a sharp cinnamon color. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are yellow.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Seven embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.
History: She was born in the north. A gifted student she started as a Doctor, but she got bored and became a Mercenary. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Being a Fortune-teller kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and seeks redemption

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Map Maker but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gorbundus fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Virra isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: She was born in a small plains village. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She bought a spear and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.
History: Glim was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Interpreter. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Interpreter for hire.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Interpreter responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. Bathin is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
