History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Thiala has worked very hard to control her curse. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Patrin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
