Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. One day when Arjhan was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Arjhan was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Rimple was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Rimple alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Halimath reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Theren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
