Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Hlin was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Oppleby was born with his mother's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now owns his own business.
