History: Born in the north to a Cook, Surina learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the north were limited. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
