History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Joan was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Elaim lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a Gardener, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
