History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Mindartis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Through the years after Mindartis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Mindartis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Being a Barrister kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored.
