History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Butcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Melissa and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Bryseis's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Bryseis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has worked as a Interpreter like her father before her.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ahvain fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Gardain never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
