History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Laborer father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She feeds upon the attention of others.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ahlyssa fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Anselm was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. In his youth he was a Stableman, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
