History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: She was born in a small forest village. Her childhood dream was to be a Dilettante, but she was a colossal failure. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Loopmottin has worked very hard to control her curse. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Astar hails from a village terrorized by illithids. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it
