Description: This western woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her blonde hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.
History: Hlin was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with red lining and desert motifs. He carries a battered scythe and tarnished monstrous two handed axe as well. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. A true patriot, Bucklal would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His first spouse was a Shipwright, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His hair is black and curly. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Layabout. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: The child of a Shipwright, who enjoyed hunting, Roondar was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A freak accident while working with her Shoemaker father left her crippled. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.
History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This late middle aged woman wears a tight fitting brown shirt and pants and is in decent physical shape. Sporting a chestnut mohawk this woman's hair draws a lot of attention. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.
History: Yurgunn lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Guard, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Yurgunn never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears a robe, a symbol of luck around her neck, and a lance on her belt. Her orange fur is unkempt and raggedy. Her hazel eyes peer out from beneath her deerstalker pastel hat.
Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.
History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tabaxis became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cloak fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.
