History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Matilda was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. History: Anastrianna was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her first spouse was a Laborer, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Kipper was born with his father's beautiful face. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kipper fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
