She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her blue crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

He prefers to carry a sickle, but if one is not available he will default to his hammer. Sporting a auburn mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker white hat.
Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gildmak will drive conversation. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: He comes from a rich southern family. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Seamstress they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Stableman, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Stableman and was forced into it by his family.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His hair is golden and very short. His green eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is his passion

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His first spouse was a Brewer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Being a Map Maker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
