History: Gifted from a young age, Thiala studied abroad. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Thiala took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up monstrous two handed axe and armor she uses now. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. She struck the Cartwright job and began her own company from there.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Heian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Heian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
