History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. After a long history of fighting, Tatyan and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
