History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Laucian was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bather. He has achieved small success as a Bather.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a Sage, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bowyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: An older woman who has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her yellow robe, she is not a threatening figure. Her golden hair is still thick. This gray eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Chay was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Chay and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Mindartis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mindartis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mindartis. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and seeks redemption

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: Born in the north to a Bowyer, Katherine learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Katherine fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and to reunite with her old friends

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
