He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Scrag and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
