History: The child of a Shoemaker, who enjoyed hunting, Chay was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new ruler responsibilities is difficult
