History: Born in the north to a Body Guard, Katherine learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Knight, but she got bored and became a Body Guard. She became a Body Guard soon after.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her childhood dream was to be a Blacksmith, but she was a colossal failure. She has worked as a Bricklayer like her mother before her.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ruler for the past few years.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and sabotage a competitor
