Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His fur is yellow and curly. His blue eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Assassin arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Kite alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and wants to work out more often

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a brown coat, and is pretty ugly. Her long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines hazel.
Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.
History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Weaver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'5" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She very much looks the part of a Cartwright. She keeps her brown hair in a pixie cut. Her violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Mara is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Mara was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She struck the Cartwright job and began her own company from there.

Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.
History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the west. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Sailor. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: To be a Cartwright again.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ur-Dag studied abroad. His parents enrolled him in a Barbarian school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He dresses well, wearing pastel shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His fur, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. His copper eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Born in the east to a Layabout, Tree learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

Description: She is lean but muscular and wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with blue lining and desert motifs. Her auburn hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.
Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Breena was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Breena's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
