History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ghesh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To be a Unemployed again; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Vicky grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tabaxi companion (her 'brother'). She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Through the years after Syllin was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Syllin's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
