She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Nurkara was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Biri reached her early adolescence her Dragonborn mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. A true patriot, Ielenia would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Mason arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Ielenia has worked very hard to control her curse. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born in the north to a Mason, Ahvain learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theren grew up listening to his father's many stories. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: She got into the Sage business at a young age. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has worked as a Sage like her father before her.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has worked as a Junk Dealer like his father before him.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.
