History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. After coming to the age of reason, Varis took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He's also a talented Marshal, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has achieved small success as a Carpenter.
