History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kabbarg grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kabbarg. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
